About Me

Master's of Science in Applied Epidemiology student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Currently working with the Ojesina Cancer research lab and funded by the National Cancer Institute. I am working on a project which seeks to evaluate the relationship between HPV integration status- taken from the exome and RNA sequencing data- on the occurrence of germline mutations.

My thesis will involve analysis of REGARDS data (, and through development of an observational cohort study, will hopefully determine the effect of racial status (specifically African-American) on stroke recurrence and all-cause mortality for individuals with previous history of myocardial infarction.

Please find a copy of my CV below for additional information on my experience and educational background.
